Data

The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is the central repository of data from disparate sources, brought together by using standard methodology and processes, to support reporting and analytics across multiple subject areas. Data is vetted by appropriate campus stewards to maintain a level of confidence for resulting reports and integrations.

Data Subject Areas

There are 3 main subject areas sourced by the EDW - Student, Human Resources and Financials. Other sources of data from CRMs, smaller system of records, etc. are integrated on a requirements basis.

Data Models

The high-level models below describe the major star schemas that the EDW is built out of today. The EDW is continuously being developed and improved so expect updates to these models.
